to be in or reach an optimum stage of development; develop fully and richly
In 2019 Abigail struggled with my mental health challenges that led her to have a conversation with God. In her mind, she heard God say, “I want you to flower”. Confused & lost, her response was, “How do I flower?”
In an effort to find the answer she gained a new talent that brought people together. With a hand-me-down sewing machine & bed linens she began designing & sewing products that became a medium to discuss topics nobody talks about and advocate for those whose voices go unheard. The process of creating and collaborating with others has led to Abigail's personal flowering journey and many others.
Our hope is to inspire everyone to ask themselves “How do I flower?” The products purchased will serve as a reminder that we all exist so we can flower. In addition, How Do I Flower aims to keep Mother Earth flowering by using waste & recycled materials to construct each unique piece.
Flower: be in or reach an optimum stage of development; develop fully and richly.
